Our tiniest campers enjoy a 3 day morning mini camp. They will learn a routine as well as the traditional fight songs of McNeese. They will enjoy activities such as dressing up for a fashion show, tea parties, and makeup! Their routines, the traditional fight songs of McNeese, and tons of band cheers will be performed at a showcase on day 3 of camp at 10:30!

CAMP DATES | July 20-22, 2026

TIME | Daily registration is at 8:00 am. Camp will end at 11:00am.

AGES | 3-4 year olds AND 5 year olds who have not been to school.

COSTS | $200

LOCATION | Camp will be held at the McNeese Rec Complex located near the corner of Sale Rd. and Common St. The parking lot is located between Hardtner Hall (the nursing building) and the parking garage. The main doors to the facility face Common St.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

We are beaming with excitement to host our Precious Pokes Camp! Just a few reminders, as this may be your little one’s first camp.

Parents/guardians are required to sign participants in and out each day. This is a great opportunity to leave notes with staff on any arrangements for the day and for us to inform you of any incidents that occurred. We will also have a backdrop set up for pictures, so please, take advantage of this and tag us in any social media posts you make. We do ask that once we start warming up at 8:15 you make your way to the exits. I PROMISE YOU, if your dancer is so upset and none of our loves, hugs, and tricks heal her heart, we will call you. My personal cell phone is listed below. You are more than welcome to text me any time during the camp to check in!

We ask that you bring with your dancer each day a bag that includes a change of clothes, a jacket/sweatshirt, and a water bottle. Please have all items labeled!! We will place a colored ID band on each bag to know which group the dancer is in, but again individual items need to be labeled before arriving.

We will serve a snack each morning between 9:15-10am during our activities. It is very important that you let us know if your camper has any allergies to the snacks being served!! For those with allergies, we ask that you pack a safe snack for them.                                                            

Example of snacks: Monday: goldfish; Tuesday: OREOS; Wednesday: M&M cookies from Sam’s and/or assorted chips

On Wednesday at 10am in the MRec Complex arena, we will have a showcase of routines learned to conclude camp.  We welcome you to invite any and all family and friends to join us! We anticipate dismissal at or before 11am.

The only attire requirements are for the dancers to come comfortably and in tennis shoes. As mentioned above, do pack a jacket/sweatshirt. The main arena is usually quite chilly. We will have Precious Pokes t-shirts for sale in our Kicker Store, but these are optional! On Wednesday, we ask that you send your dancer in any McNeese shirt and solid-colored bottoms.

We wholeheartedly thank you for participating in this camp. Almost every expense of our team is covered by fundraising of our members, so know that we could not be the team we are without your assistance and support. We also thank you for trusting us with your babies. These camps are opportunities for us to extend our love of dance and McNeese spirit to even the smallest of fans!
